Wish List en Marbella - Ester Wish List Jugettes Para Todo.
Durante los dos últimos meses me he convertido en amigo de Ester, que es la mujer del wonderul maravillosa que tiene un poco ... malos llaman "Caridad" llamada lista de deseos, Marbella, la lista de deseos. Lista de deseos es, literalmente, una lista de deseos ... pero ¿de quién?
Los niños de La Ciudad de los Niños en Marbella, el orfanato para niños en Málaga. Si usted es un lector de este blog en el que puede recordar la visita personal al orfanato de Málaga.
Ester recauda dinero durante todo el año o se hace a la gente para tener a estos niños en los días fuera, divertido y educativo. Lo mejor de todo es en Navidad, su la única vez que los niños reciben algo NUEVO y cada niño escribe su deseo y Ester recauda dinero para comprar a los niños exactamente lo que quieren. Todos los presentes solo se envuelve y hoy fue el día en que los niños recibieron sus regalos.
Fui a lo largo de hoy en día como Id el próximo año, como para ayudar un poco y tal vez algunos de ustedes pueden pensar en una manera de ayudar.
La Merienda / Parte se celebró en el Hotel confortable en Fuengirola. Era hermosa, la mesa estaba puesta hacia fuera, todos los presentes fueron apilados y Papá Noel estaba lista de espera para que los niños llegan. Alguien había pagado por el alquiler del hotel, la comida y el alquiler del coche para que todos los niños allí. Es sorprendente lo que puede acheieve tirando juntos.
Los niños llegaron y ver sus caras cuando les llamó Santa seguimiento fue simplemente hermoso.
Los niños van de alrededor de 4 hasta 16 o 18 años de edad. Los mayores se parece a ningún otro adolescente en la calle con sus pantalones anchos. Los más pequeños ... y lo que desea para llevar a casa. Fue hermoso ver a mi hija de ser parte de ella y disfrutar de cuidar a los más pequeños ... aunque ella no podía entender por qué didnt tiene momias o papás - que es desgarrador.
Los niños mayores de esa edad era encantador, bien educado y encantador la forma en que todos trabajamos juntos y mirar hacia fuera para los más pequeños. Fue un momento maravilloso.
Si a usted le gustaría ayudar a Ester ayudar a estos niños y de vez en cuando les permiten experimentar cosas que nuestros niños son tan afortunados de la experiencia, puede enviarme un correo electrónico y la enfermedad que transmiten.

Ester raises money throughout the year or gets people together to take these kids out on days out, fun and educational. The best of all is at Christmas, its the one time the kids get something NEW and each child writes down their wish and Ester raises money to buy the kids exactly what they want. Every single present is then wrapped and today was the day the kids received their presents.
I went along today as next year Id like to help out a little bit and maybe some of you can think of a way to help.
The Merienda / Party was held at the Comfortable Hotel in Fuengirola. It was lovely, the table was laid out, all the presents were stacked up and father christmas was ready waiting for the kids to arrive. Someone had paid for the hire of the hotel, the food and also the hire of the coach to bring all the children there. Its amazing what you can acheieve by pulling together.
The kids arrived and to see their faces when Santa called them up was just beautiful.
The kids range from about 4 up to 16 or 18 years old. The older ones look like any other teenager on the street with their baggy jeans. The little ones...well you just want to take them home. It was lovely watching my daughter be part of it and enjoying looking after the little ones...although she couldnt understand why they didnt have mummies or daddies - which is heartbreaking.
The older kids were lovely, well mannered and lovely the way they all pull together and watch out for the little ones. It was a wonderful moment.
If you would like to help Ester help these kids and every so often allow them to experience things that our kids are so lucky to experience, you can email me and Ill pass it on.

Advertising Laws in the UK
We sat down last night to watch the final of The Apprentice...I love this programme.We really didnt have a clue who was going to win but I hoped it was going to be Stella.
We had to laugh when the guys went to the "Advertising People" to talk about their advert. They were allowed this, they werent allowed that, they werent allowed to show a man giving a woman a drink...then getting it on with her as this would make people think this is what the drink would do. You couldnt have them drink more than 1 or something...as this would lead to binge drinking. It was the biggest load of crap I have ever heard of.
However...its ok at 7.30pm on Xfactor for Christina Aguilera and her dancers to dance around the stage in g-strings, suspenders, black & red lace as if they are in a hookers joint and then Rhinna coming on basically stripping off and grinding back and fourth wearing next to nothing.
Has the world gone mental? I think it has.

No creo que estoy listo para el mundo de "en el aire", música, etc
Con esto me refiero a la sorprendente iPod, iPhone itouches.
Esta semana recibí un "normal "de teléfono nuevo con mis puntos movistar .... solo un teléfono para llamar a la gente y el texto ... eso es todo lo que necesito como tengo un toco para comprobar mis correos electrónicos en cuando en la zona wifi.
Después de que el problema de los últimos días con mi contacto me complace no se habló en un iPhone .... yo no podía hacer frente. Creo que me enviaría el borde .. literalmente.
Mi problema es que no entiendo el iTunes todo / nada de aire a pesar de que contamos con todos los gadgets, los iPods, toca, Apple TV y el iPad oh ... Nunca he subido o descargado música en mi vida .... yo no sabría cómo hacerlo o por dónde empezar.
Dame una cinta, un CD o grabar una y yo estaría bien!
Ayer mi Itouch fue extraño y se congela con una imagen de un cable, un cd y dice iTunes.
He mirado en la web de Apple, seguido de la resolución de las páginas eHow problema y todavía no puede hacerlo.
Probablemente algo realmente sencillo, pero después de 24 horas de la celebración de botones, haciendo esto, haciendo que he tenido suficiente. Es una situación de captura 22 ... no lo puedo restaurar como tengo que abrir y poner en el código de acceso ... pero no puedo hacer eso porque es bloqueado.
Tenido suficiente y esperemos que la Marbella de expertos de Apple podrán ayudarme.
La tecnología va camino a rápido para mí.

Recibo Multas De Trafíco, Pero No He Recibido Antes
Hoy tengo unas pocas personas de registrarse para mi boletín de noticias y encontré mi sitio, mientras que a través de google en busca de información sobre multas de tráfico en Marbella, España.
Sí .... todo el mundo parece estar recibiendo estas cartas desagradables hoy. La semana pasada se IBI que se fue sin pagar que dicen que intentó varias veces sacar dinero de su banco ... pero en realidad sólo se trató de una vez.
Hoy en día sus multas de tráfico pendientes de pago al que me acabo de enterar es a partir de 2009.
A diferencia de mucha gente ..... que prefieren pagar nuestras deudas de inmediato. La idea de deber dinero si el gobierno tuvo a su alcance para, compañía de electricidad o amigos ... no nos gusta.
Pero ¿cómo se puede pagar una cuenta que usted no sabe que debe?
Si usted pertenece a Linea Directa, que en realidad tenía un servicio que usted podría pagar más y van a ordenar sus multas a cabo ..... estoy tratando de esto en este momento.

Cualquier persona que ayuda con las multas de tráfico en Marbella?

Así que si eres un lector habitual sabe que hemos sido enviados multas de tráfico desde el año 2009 .... sin embargo, ninguna imagen de nuestro coche o la prueba de haber enviado nada de antemano.
Llamé a Línea Directa para ayudar a que yo estaba bastante seguro de que sacó su política adicional de ayudar con sus multas de tráfico .... me parece aún no ha y estoy un poco desconcertado por esto.
De todos modos yo podría pagar el extra ahora y deberán cubrirse en el futuro, pero no considerará los proyectos de ley que tengo en este momento.
Dicen los que tienen fotos de su auto a toda velocidad que no puedo ganar, pero aquellos en los que no hay ninguna foto o proff que pueden.
De todas formas si hay alguien por ahí que imagina un reto y algo de publicidad gratuita en este blog que me haga saber.
Conocer algunos abogados que dicen que se le devuelvan el dinero de la fallida cirugía plástica ... pero sólo tomar su dinero ... soy un poco reservado acerca de la entrega dinero a las personas que dicen tener sus multas canceladas.

Apple iTouch frozen with picture of wire and cd saying itunes
I don't think I'm ready for the world of "in the air" music etc
By this I mean the amazing iPods, itouches iPhones.
This week I just got a "normal" new phone with my movistar points....just a phone to call people and text...that's all I need as I have an I touch to check my emails on when in wifi area.
After the past days problem with my touch I'm pleased didn't get talked into an iPhone....I couldn't cope. I think it would send me off the edge..literally.
My prob is I dont understand the whole iTunes / air thing even though we have all the gadgets, iPods, touches, apple tv oh and the iPad... I've never uploaded or downloaded music in my life....I wouldn't know how to do it or where to start.
Give me a tape, a cd or a record and I'd be fine!!!
Yesterday my Itouch went weird and is frozen with a picture of a wire, a cd and it says iTunes.
I have looked at apple website, followed the Ehow solving problem pages and still can't do it.
It probably something really simple but after 24 hours of holding buttons down, doing this, doing that I've had enough. It's a catch 22 situation...I can't restore it as I need to open it and put in passcode...but can't do that cause it's locked.
Had enough and hopefully the Marbella Apple Expert will be able to help me out.
Technology is going way to fast for me.

Hire Inflatables for the Swimming Pool

Hopefully you can help me: I am looking for inflatable toys for rent, like slides, climbing walls that can be used in a swimming pool. My son is having his birthday party in the beginning of January and I have been searching on the internet, but cannot find anything for rent. We rent our flat and the pool is communal, we would prefer not to buy these things, since we would not know where to store them afterwards.....

I heard a story that you can actually get arrested for not paying your parking fine. Infact I've come across quite a few websites / forums where people have been arrested and don't know why. In Spain you can be held for up to 72 hours
A few months ago some friends of ours were arrested as they helped their friends try and get tenants out of their house. A typical scenario here in Spain. In the UK you have to obide by the laws....here is the same.
Unfortunately the law is all on the side of the tenant...so dont do it. The tenant called the police and the owners of the house and friends who went to help all got arrested and thrown into a cell....literally. They werent even given time to sort out child care and lucky another neighbour saw the kid walking around...wondering where the parents were...how disgusting is that.
It was an absolute nightmare and I felt sick hearing about it. Its disgusting that the people who do wrong get away with it and the people who are loosing out on everything get arrested.
Apparently you can be arrested here and kept up to 72 hours and they dont have to give you a reason. Its a real worry. But not paying a fine or trying to get people out of your own house....is this really worth locking someone up in a cell for?
Its all wrong and a real worry... and another point added to the negatives of living in Spain. Its a wonder how its part of the EU with what goes on here sometimes.

Christmas on Ice Marbella - Ice Skating Palacio de Congresso Marbella
On the way back from my Spanish Test this morning, outside the Palacio de Congress Marbella there is a huge sign saying Christmas on Ice.
Looks like we wont have to go to the Ice Skating Benalmadena or Ice Skating Rink or Gibraltar Ice Rink for the moment.

Sell your Old Phones El Corte Ingles
This afternoon I was in El Corte Ingles Marbella for nearly 2 hours. I always wait till my points to get a new phone.
The guy that I deal with is the most paciente person ever and had such problems with movistar.
Anyway, whislt there this guy came along...well I think it was a guy...Im not too sure, even my daughter was confused as the voice was of a woman.
Anyway, he / she came along with 4 crummy old phones, and got 20€ for them.
I have just dug downstairs in my basement and found 4 old phones...Ill probably get a 1€ each knowing my luck!
So if you have phones lying around the house take it to El Corte Ingles and get some cash for them.

Renewing Residencia Nueva Andalucia Marbella
In the new year Ive got the horrible job of renewing our residencia.
The whole thing is a joke as I Hired a Gestoria to help us get it...it took a year and a half before we went to the police station to queue up for no less than 4 hours. Ive never seen anything like it.
Then its only valid for 5 years.
So 3 and a half years later Im going to have to renew it and hand in my lovely little card and change it for a horrible big piece of paper.
Why did they change it?
So question....what are the implications of not renewing it and keeping my nice little card?
I also have to get an NIE Number for my daughter age 6...(as told by the bank).
Not looking forward to doing this at all.

Mango Store New Sizes
Yesterday whilst my daughter was at a birthday party in Puerto Banus I really needed some jeans that fitted. I went to Zara and tried on 6 pairs...3 in 36 3 in 38.
36 too small 38 too big. There was nothing that fitted me....so Im an odd size...
I went to Mango and saw these jeans...Size 37 / 9. I couldnt beleive it. Tried them on...they fit almost perfectly.
Brilliant to see more sizes.

Old Fashioned Shoe Repair Marbella
There are lots of Shoe / Key places around but for proper shoe repair / bag repair you need to go to a specialist.
We found this great little shop in Marbella. As you drive through Marbella from Nueva Andalucia Direction turn right for the Fuerte Hotel...the little shop is there on the right. OPen 9 till 2 and then 4 till 8 closed on a Saturday.
My husband had his shoes resoled there and I just took my daughters school shoes in as the buckle part has broken where the strap goes through. about 6€ to fix he said.

Costa Del Sol Radio Stations
I was asked by a reader yesterday to try and get some feed back on radio stations here on the Costa Del Sol.
I listen to Spectrum and Talk Radio....when I know how to work the radio in the Car.
I dont know what happens, at the weekend when my husband drives...radio statios are loud and clear...then I get in and most of the time I get Spanish, German or French...sad to say, Ive never been able to work radios....sad but true.
But which ones to you listen to and why?

Which is the Best Sky TV Company on Costa Del Sol
UPDATE, now having had to call 2 different Companies and deal with them over the phone or in person ove the past few months....The Sky Doctor wins hands down. Mainly for the following reasons. They have a website. They have a landline and mobile with a proper answer phone message. If they are not there they call you back if you leave a message. If they say they will be at your house at 9am...they are there at 9am. Keep your paperwork and they are very fair if the same problems exists.
I wish I knew!

Orbit...Orbit have been around for a long time. They did all the sky stuff on our urbanisation until recently...when numerous apartments had problems which werent getting solved and finally the decision was to change companies...which so far has not been the answer. Orbit always turned up when they said they would - which is a very important factor..
The Sky Doctor. I had the Sky Doctor to install free view set about 14 months ago. I remember they were nice on the phone, turned up on time and whilt they encountered a couple of problems with wires they got the job done. We got the cheap package 249 and its cheap. The box is as light as feather and the remote control, hold it too tight it will break in your hands. (but we have gone for cheap). We already have had to get a new remote costing 40€ . Just a few days out of my year with them then TV signal went bad. I called and they sent the guys out. They changed some wires and also did manage to get us some channels back that we lost. Bill was 70€. But a few days later the problem did arrise again and was explained over the phone to go to a different BBC / ITV which did work. Keep your paperwork and best to give them a call before your years out for a bit of allignnment if you have a problem. The guys are good and MOST IMPORTANTLY they turn up on time. Keep your paperwork and if you have a problem within a year thats not a new problem, Im pretty sure they will cover it.
Another Sky Company....I dont know their name (will find out), have been put in control of our developement where I have holiday Rentals. Luckily my apartment wasnt one badly affected...didnt have great signal but the channels we needed to keep holidaymakers happy. But since this company stepped foot on the urbanisation we have had nothing but problems. Being told by on the phone that all the communal areas have been fixed and that its down to the individual apartments and I should check my box...didnt impress me. I had called them numerous times for them to tell me "yes its being fixed tomorrow".

III Spanish Language School Kids Summer Courses
III Language school is a great school to learn Spanish.
I was really happy to see that they are starting to do kids courses. I picked up a leaflet the other day....which strangely only came in Spanish. I thought wow, 350€ for the month...Ill sign my little girl up for it.
Yeah right a month? ... nope 350€ per week! That was the lowest price, goes up to 700€ per week although that does include accommodation.
Its a great idea as they are in a hotel, but seems alot of money to me. But I dont think they are trying to capture the English Market...more the Russian as their poster was in that language.
I never understand why Spanish language schools would only have their information in Spanish...maybe im missing something

Smallworld Cafe Review
Those of you that read this blog will know I do like the food at Smallworld Cafe which is in Le Village near Oliva Valeres Night Club. Its not perfect but the food is good and consistant and its not a rip off...so thats why we go back.
We decided to take everyone from the office to Smallworld as there really is something for everyone. There were 8 of us and think that everyone enjoyed their meal. The manager laid on a selection of starters which was great as we normally just stick to the Hummos....but we got to try everything including the chicken wings which were everyones favourite and the polenta chips.
For mains everyone had something different, on the specials were lamb burgers which were delicious, some had the laksa which is a thai dish and also the seafood pasta...all the main coures were delicious.
For dessert, whilst it was hard to find room, we managed and had a selection of desserts and whilst all are great, the chocolate brownie wins hands down.
It was a friday night at the begining of December and it was busy in there and that was the thing that everyone enjoyed most...it was full and had a bit of life.

So if you are a regular reader you know that we have been sent traffic fines since 2009....yet no picture of our car or proof that they have sent anything beforehand.
I called Linea Directa to help as I was pretty sure I took out their extra policy of helping with traffic fines....its seems I didnt and I am a little baffled by this.
Anyway I could pay the extra now and be covered for future but they wont consider the bills I have at the moment.
They say the ones with photos of your car speeding they cant win but ones where there is no photo or proff they can.
Anyway if there is anyone out there who fancies a challenge and some free advertising on this blog let me know.
Knowing certain solicitors that claim they will get your money back from botched Plastic Surgery...yet only take your money...Im a little reserved about handing money over to people that claim to get your fines cancelled.

Having received numerous bills with added interest from the IBI Bills (like Council Tax in UK) I have decided to do the following.
Many problems come because there are not sufficient funds in your account.
So....In May top up your account where all your bills exit from. Our IBI Bills are normally about 900€ so I will add in May an extra 1k. There are 4 bills. 2 for Rubbish, 1 for your building and 1 for your garage.
Then when you receive your bank statements stating it has been paid attach this to the original IBI bill and file it.
KEEP every single bit of paper / payment here....you really willl need it as prove one day.
I was really peed off this morning receiving yet another bill with interest, but having gone through my accounts I see it was taken but the returned to the account as there were not sufficient funds...however they didnt try 3 times as said.
So if you take my advice and top up your account in May for the Summer IBI Bills you shouldnt have any problems and remember to keep all Paperwork.

How Important it is to Get Quotes In Quickly
So a couple of weeks ago I had 2 guys look at an apartment to quote me on lots of annoying bits and bobs that needed to be fixed. Tiles, mirrors, light fittings etc etc. It was a few full days of work.
One guy came back to me the next day and just gave me an hourly rate with a rough guide of how many hours.
The other....well Im still waiting for the quote.....lucky I went with my heart and told the other guy to start and he so he started and is now finished...whilst Im still waiting for the other quote.
The thing is maybe the other guy didnt want the job, but he came and keeps saying to me...ah im getting a price for this and a price for that then tomorrow Ill give you the quote...mañana mañana mañana!!!

Silence in Exams? Not here in Spain
An exam with a difference!!!
So today I had a test / exam in my Spanish. Now Test / Exam to me means...you sit, you do your test, you do not talk, you do not look or show your papers to anyone else and if you are told not to use a dictionary...then you dont use a dictionary.
Well, I find it a real worry and funny at the same time.
In my class everyone gravatates towards their own, i.e all Chinese sit together, Germans Sit together, Polish, Russians, Hungarians etc...you just sit with each other.
To the left of me were, The Morocans, The Polish and the Russians.....The Morocann women arrived late and decided to strike up a conversation. The Russian continually showed one another their answers and well the Polish had to win the award...
They spoke, asked each other the answers and words in Spanish and one sneekily placed her hand behind her chair, deep into her bag and pulled out A DICTIONARY! The teacher looked around and she quickly hid it down to her side as she was by the wall...how sneeky!!!
All this taking place whilst little law obiding English Citizen (me) sits there and quietly gets on with her test.
I phoned my husband when I finished... and you do have to laugh, but its a worry, a real worry that maybe some of "these professionals" arent really professionals and just cheated their way through exams and life.

Max Clifford & Shieren Dewani
Whats it all about???? I find this story really intriging.
Id heard about the car jacking and everything when it happened...terrible ordeal. But then a couple of days later, reading sky news on my ipod, I was reading a story of a husband found guilty of killing his wife (Indian)....I thought it was this story, the one in South Africa...it was a different one.
But how weird for me that just a day later the news comes out that Shieren Dewani may well have something to do with this.
Straight away when we heard Max Clifford was his publicist...we thought WHY? Now, inoccent until proven guilty...of course...but Why Max Clifford. Max Clifford is a genius at allowing certain stories to come out but most of all, stopping the truth from coming out as we have learnt with may of the stars and footballers today.
Then you read the stories of their company being in debt...you start putting everything together and think...He must have done it!
I hope that he had nothing to do with it but the truth will hopefully come out in the end. I cannot imagine what the bride Anni´s family are going through...how do you deal with a situation like this?

New Bins in Puerto Banus & Marbella
There are new bins everywhere and they look so much better.
The new bins now go underground...making it so much clearer and cleaner. The strange one is Marbella by the Port area. This wasnt a very nice area and there are lots of cafes around there but you couldnt really see them because of all the bins....now with new bins and new pavement, the area looks so different.
Puerto Banus opposite La Pequera, new bins have gone in too and looks much better.
Great to see!

Gala Perfumeria - perfume barato
Antes de ir a comprar después del afeitado o Perfumes esta Navidad tiene un paseo en la Gala Perfumería. A menudo tienen ofertas de 30% de descuento o segunda mitad de precio .... y sus precios son un poco más barato que El Corte Inglés de todos modos.

Si usted necesita la madera para el fuego hay un montón de lugares a fin de, podrás ver los anuncios en el periódico, en los escaparates y sólo en los árboles y los mensajes mientras conduce.
Lo que la mayoría de ellos dicen que es "VENTA DE LEÑA"
No es de madera de roble que se ENCINA o de oliva que se OLIVA. Encina parece ser un poco más caro. También hay que Almendro No he utilizado todavía.
He usado ambos y encontrar a los dos muy buenos. Mientras su seco. A veces el problema es que gran parte de la madera viene en piezas muy grandes por lo que es difícil para el fuego para ponerse en marcha. Yo personalmente he visto numerosos videos sobre cómo iniciar un fuego de leña y el ello que el 80% del tiempo puedo obtener uno va bien.

Yo normalmente pagan 87,50 para un metro cúbico de Encina ... o mezclado a veces. Luego se cobrará un cargo extra para realmente llevar a tu casa puede ser desde 5 € uros. Normalmente 7 € para mí.
Mi amigo acaba de pedir la madera de otra persona que se encuentra más barato, así que sólo lo intentó también.
Venta de Leña Teléfono 951 240 609 o 622 679 933. Para roble de un metro cúbico es de 65 € o mixtas de roble y olivo de 70 €. Pequeña bolsa de palos alrededor de 2 €. Él aún no ha encargado de traer la madera en la casa ... pero me dio un consejo como el trabajo duro.
Una vez que la pila de madera en el lugar elegido se llega a saber lo que un metro cúbico parece. Normalmente nos dura un mes.

Natacha Missing in Marbella - Found
Last night I had a really bad nights sleep...mainly because I came across a story on Facebook about a little girl called Natacha who had gone missing in Benahavis Wednesday 1st December. When you have kids and you hear a story of a kid going missing....the feeling is just awful.
There wasnt much information on Facebook about her, if she had wandered off or if someone had taken her. I did have a strong feeling that this was a "Family" issue as there didnt seem to be any mention of the mother.
It turns out that the little girl has been found and seen in Phuket with her mother in Thailand. As meantioned here in Typically Spanish

If this is a case of mixed marriage & separation this is very common and I feel for the kids...just a couple of weeks ago was the programme of fathers taking the kids to the middle east, leaving the mums in the UK with nothing. I have also heard a few other cases of this here on the Costa Del Sol.

Traffic Fines in Spain / Marbella / Costa Del Sol
Today I have a few people registering for my newsletter and found my site through google whilst searching for information on Traffic Fines in Marbella / Spain.
Yes....everyone seems to be receiving these nasty letters today. Last week it was IBIs that went unpaid that they say they tried numerous times to take money from your bank...yet actually only tried once.
Today its unpaid traffic fines to which I have just found out is from 2009.
Unlike many people.....we prefer to pay our debts straight away. The thought of owing money whether its to the governement, electric company or friends...we dont like.
But how can you pay a bill that you dont know you owe?
If you belong with Linea Directa, they actually did have a service you could pay extra for and they will sort your fines out.....Im trying this at the moment.

Why Stay in Spain?
Yes today Im in a fail mood with this sodding country. But you know what it doesnt hurt for you readers out there to read that actually it aint perfect here.
The truth, the only thing its got going for it is the Sun (when its out) . Its expensive, food aint that great, customer service? Everyone is on the take here and the locals still look up to these W&%$%$s that stole all OUR money like they are GOD. They dont seem to understand they these people, their govenment STOLE their money.
The system here is all wrong...people are on the dole for 2 years with no incentive to work whatsoever....many people are coming to the end of their 2 years already....the situation re jobs is even worse so what are these people going to do? Some people were / are getting 1500€ per month! This is more than the average wage!
What are we at...1 in 4 unemployed in Spain...personally take at least one more off as this country is full of lies.
Everyone moans about the UK system...well its not much better here.

More Bills about Car Fines in Marbella
Im really F&%&ked off this morning. Last week collected a bill for my Ibi which they say they tried 3 times to collect...actually they tried once...fined with interest.
Today....I collect 4 letters to do with my car with fines of 350€ each...we know we have paid the fines we have been given. I was told today that the only way you can fight this is in person at Malaga...so we have to take a whole day out to go to Malaga to say that these have already been paid.
Isnt it funny how its all just before Christmas too.
This country is in serious trouble and they are going the right way to piss off the few people that are still here contributing to the little economy they have...
Today Im pissed and these are the things that push me to think actually life would be easier in the UK. Its not just the language barrier...its the culture, the way they deal...or dont deal with things....even the Spanish dont F&%%&ing understand the crap that is written.
We could really do with a bit of good news today or something nice happening so if by chance you owe us something....today would be a good day to do so.
