Go See Spain or at least Andalucia when you are living in Marbella

A brief conversation with someone on Twitter earlier inspired me to write this post.

It always shocks me when I talk to people that live in Marbella, have lived here for a number of years, yet haven´t even been to Malaga City.  Honestly!  For them, Malaga is Ikea and the Airport.

Im not a great traveller, but, it was important for me to see some of the main cities of Spain, especially when they are just a few hours drive.

Spain is such a fantastic country to drive around.  Its not like the UK, where everywhere is solid traffic.  Driving through Spain is so enjoyable with the sea, the mountains, the greenery.

If you live in Marbella, the local places you should at least go to are;

Malaga City
Monda
Istan
Ojen
Mijas Pueblo
Benalmadena Pueblo
Casares
Tarifa
Castellar de la Frontera

If you dont mind a couple of hours or more

Seville
Cordoba
Granada
Cadiz
Jerez
Madrid
Barcelona
