In 2006 I decided to start this blog. The main reason was to provide the information that I personally struggled to find when I needed it. I moved here in 2003 and fell pregnant instantly. There were a few complications and I was desperate to talk to people about pregnancy and having a baby in Marbella, Spain. I needed to know what documents I needed, paying NIE and general living. It was a really tough, but exciting time, however, getting the right information was hard.
So, Nueva Andalucia Life started in 2006 and I have been blogging ever since. I now write about every day life in Marbella including real restaurant reviews, customer service, new businesses opening and closing, choosing the right education for your kids and lots more.
I have met some wonderful people through this blog and made some really good friends. Thank you to all the wonderful supporters and readers over the past few years.
